Farmers Markets

IT'S LATE SUMMER and the season's produce is at its absolute peak. Eat as much corn, tomatoes, chiles and other warm- weather crops as you can before they're gone. Here is a list of five farmers markets open year round where you can get the best of what the season has to offer.

Menlo Park, between Chestnut and Crane streets. Sundays 9:30am�1:30pm.

Milpitas, parking lot off Calaveras Boulevard at Town Center Drive. Wednesdays 10am�2pm and Sundays 9am�1pm.

Mountain View, parking lot on Hope Street. between Evelyn Avenue. and Villa Street. Sundays 9am�1pm.

San Jose/Santana Row, Stevens Creek and Winchester boulevards. Sundays 10am�2pm.

Sunnyvale, South Murphy Avenue between Washington and Evelyn. Saturdays 9am�1pm.
