Where to Go, What to Do

Places for the young and the restless to dance, shoot pool, play sports and hang out WITH WINTER just around the corner, the entertainment options available to Santa Clara Valley teenagers have dwindled. Midnight basketball, The Zone, San Jose Live and a few other summertime activities will have to wait for warmer weather, but there's still stuff to do. It just takes a little more effort. The Edge 260 California Ave., Palo Alto 650/324-3343 Eighteen-and-over club books alternative rock, modern/house DJs. Some live shows are all-ages. Sundays during the summer offer dancing for 14- to 18-year-olds. The Gaslighter Music Hall 7430 Monterey St., Gilroy 408/848-3488 All-ages club offers line dancing, ska and rock. Call for schedule. The Gaslighter Theater 400 E. Campbell Ave., Campbell 408/866-1408 Vaudeville and melodrama on Friday and Saturday nights, with occasional ska shows throughout the week. All ages. Sports Abundant Life Assembly of God 10100 N.
