Enrico Caruso garnered critical acclaim throughout Europe and the Americas for his abilities as a lyric tenor, and is known as one of the first major singing talents to be commercially recorded. Now, over a century after his passing, Caruso’s work is brought to life once more, by way of Italian-born American tenor Pasquale Esposito. The SJSU alum celebrates Caruso’s 150th Birthday on the stage, by way of his first PBS Special production honoring Caruso. The tribute will include famous songs and highlight Caruso’s illustrious career from Naples to New York, paving the way for many artists like Esposito himself.
