Dragging bodies. Blood-splattered backgrounds. And lyrics about twisting necks 180 degrees—all set to delightfully catchy and cutesy girl-group pop. Welcome to the world of Phantom Siita, the five-piece retro-horror J-pop group produced by singer/songwriter Ado. After dropping their first single last summer, Phantom Siita released their debut album, Shoujo no Hi no Omoide (Girlhood Memories), later that year. Of course, no album release is complete without a proper tour. And just like the tour’s name, Phantom Siita hopes to draw their darkside-loving fans to venues like a “Moth To a Flame.”
