Are they punk rock? Pop-punk? Emo? In the time of online streaming and genre-bending, Prince Daddy & the Hyena can be all these things and none if they want. Celebrating their aluminum anniversary (that’s the big 1-0) as a band, Prince Daddy & the Hyena have survived a harrowing van crash, stolen equipment and the death of their original drummer. However, the challenges only made the band stronger and more determined, as evidenced in their 2022 self-titled concept album about what it means to live one’s best life, knowing death comes for us all. A full night of moshing is on tap as they’re joined by Ben Quad, Cliffdiver and Heart to Gold.
