Despite the blues being an American genre, what makes it unique is that anyone and everyone gets the blues. Just ask Quique Gomez, the Spanish-born bluesman and harmonica player who cut his teeth in the heart of blues territory: Chicago. Since then, he’s traveled the world delivering his spicy blend of the blues like an international gumbo of goodness. Last year, he dropped his latest full-length, Cookin’ at Greaseland, perfectly showcasing the musician’s talent and musical essence. Wearing comfy dancing shoes is required as the night will be filled with soulful jams that even the worst dancers won’t deny.
