There is no such thing as too much salsa. Whether it’s the shimmying rhythm of the musical style, the hip-swivelling steps of the Latin dance or the tangy, tongue-torching tastes of the traditional taco topping, it seems everything can benefit from a little spice. The Salsa Festival returns to downtown Redwood City this weekend for its 10th year. Naturally, there will be plenty of great music, lively dancing and a whole lot of salsas to sample—from mild to maniacal. In addition to the food and entertainment, there will be tequila flights and kid-friendly activities, so bring the entire familia.
