The Latin Jazz Grammy Award-nominees Rodriguez Brothers bring their distinctive sound to San Jose this weekend. Conceived in 2002, the NYC-born duo creates an exciting fusion of new and old styles by blending Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, bolero and post-bop to the delight of audiences worldwide. Robert brings the piano skills honed through years of study at the New World School of the Arts and the University of Miami, while Michael contributes top-notch trumpeting perfected during his time at the New School in Greenwich Village. They’re denizens of the most famous jazz stages in the world, and their next stop is the SJZ Break Room.
