Cumbia and hip-hop fans don’t need to find separate events to attend this weekend. Ronda Machetera is coming to town from Mexico to play music in that cozy sweet spot between the genres. The band first launched this past June and has performed at the Machaca Festival in Monterrey, Mexico, Casa Fest in San Diego and Festival Cultural Revueltas in Mexico City. The band is wrapping up a West Coast and Mexican tour this December.
