From South San Francisco comes a modern pop quartet combining rock sensibility, modern sonic textures and a decidedly pop sensibility. ’S Wave released Everyone’s Wave in 2020, showcasing the impassioned vocals of Wendi Li and the tightly constructed, muscular instrumental work of Carson Zhang (guitar), Djacket (bass) and drummer Alex Yuan. The group followed that with a quick run of singles and several music videos. The band was commissioned to write and record a theme song for the popular anime I’m MT; that track has received over 10 million streams. Still Deer opens.
