Is there anything better than a free show? No, there’s not. It’s a scientific fact that The Man tries to keep suppressed. So this weekend, anyone wanting to stick it to The Man should head to the Caravan as four local bands throw down a couple of hours of free music for everyone’s listening pleasure. Headlining the night is San Jose’s own Sagaba, a self-described “sludge pop” group for fans of early ’90s grunge. And if Rachel happens to be serving that night, tip her well and don’t give her any $#!+ as this month, the Queen of the Caravan celebrates an extraordinary 20 years behind the sticks slingin’ drinks at one of South Bay’s most celebrated watering holes.
