The guitarist must be good if the band is named after them. Enter Santana, one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Carlos Santana burst on the music scene in the ’60s with his unique Latin American jazz mixed with good old-fashioned rock & roll. He’s done it all and seen it all, but remarkably, still keeps on playing; impressive, considering he’s one of the few still-working musicians to play at Woodstock. Over the years, Santana has solidified his musical standing even more with number-one hits, Grammy Awards, Latin Grammy Awards, and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
