A blast of South Texas blues hits town this Wednesday in the form of Scott H. Biram, aka the Dirty Old One Man Band. Biram channels blues legends like Leadbelly and John Lee Hooker and updates them with punk sensibilities. He also keeps a pounding beat with his custom stomp board during his live shows while shredding on a beat-up Gibson. Biram’s not rough around the edges; he is the edges. This month, he releases The One & Only Scott H. Biram, his 13th studio album, kicking off his 50th Year on Earth Tour. Talk about a lone star. (AM)
