South Korean fusion band Second Moon brings their dynamic project to Stanford’s underground studio for an intimate experience of their spellbinding sound. The seven-piece blends Korean Pansori sounds with Irish music using instruments like the whistle, bodhran and mandolin. Their mainstream recognition was boosted by popular K-dramas like Princess Hours, Love in the Moonlight and The Legend of the Blue Sea. Two of their five studio albums picked up Record of the Year and Best Jazz and Crossover at the 2006 and 2017 Korean Music Awards.
