SF Mime Troupe’s work is political satire—and it’s anything but silent. The Tony-Award winning troupe will open their 64th season with an engaging performance of Breakdown, a new musical that breaks down mental illness, homelessness and the role the media plays in the portrayal of it all. With plenty of quick-changes, singing, dancing and self-awareness, Breakdown is a satirical performance that analyzes some of the largest issues of our time and offers solutions through humor and theatre. The troupe performs at various Bay Area parks this summer, including St. James this Saturday.
