After making waves in the Latin alternative music scene with her debut solo album, Marchita, Estrada will be bestowing listeners at Stanford’s Bing Studio with two special performances of her discography and more this Saturday. The critically-acclaimed artist hails from Veracruz, Mexico, formally studied jazz at a conservatory and comes from a family of dynamic Mexican musicians and instrumental engineers. The musician-songwriter has previously played alongside esteemed peers Natalia Lafourcade, Mon Laferte, and Julieta Venegas. The first show is already sold out, and the second is selling quickly.
