.Snapshots of Pride in Los Gatos

San Francisco usually gets all the credit for historical events within the LGBTQ+ community. But South Bay’s history is also quite noteworthy. This NUMU exhibit looks at just that, specifically the period in the ’70s and ’80s. Snapshots of Pride showcases the work of photojournalist Ted Sahl, who was right in the heart of the historic San Jose gay rights activists’ dispute with the Moral Majority at San Jose City Hall. He captured this and much more. This important exhibit is curated by Amy Long and will run until October 5th, 2025.
