Next weekend, the Bing Concert Hall at Stanford University will host a decidedly Hippocratic selection of live music, as the Stanford Medicine Orchestra and the Stanford Medicine Chorus will grace the stage. These two groups comprise medical staff from nearby Stanford Hospital, the Stanford Medicine Center and Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital. The groups will be performing a concerto by Beethoven and “A Christmas Festival” by Leroy Anderson, a concert overture fusing some of the most popular Christmas songs of all time.
