Medical school is challenging enough as it is. The idea that students, staff and faculty could augment their already busy schedules with musical rehearsals and performances is remarkable indeed. But that’s exactly what’s happening here: Stanford Med’s Chorus (conducted by Minseung Choi, PhD) and Orchestra (under the direction of Terrance Yan) are teaming up to present a one-night-only program of holiday music from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker to “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and beyond. The program draws from many musical traditions and touches on Broadway, classical, traditional and much more.
