A smooth and swanky night awaits those who attend San Jose Jazz’s Summer Fest kickoff fundraiser this Friday. The night will feature scrumptious food and drink provided by Full Circle Catering (an arm of the local nonprofit Hunger at Home) alongside performances by South Bay jazz stars like David Lechuga, Ian Santillano and the band SJZ U19s. Best of all, Jazz Aid Fund uses all money raised for direct support of the creation of new work. They report: “Through your generosity we have provided 80 Bay Area musicians with over $100,000 in grants and performance fees since 2021.”
