.Tahereh Mafi Reads at Keplers

As much as love stories are commonplace in the American literary scene, there isn’t much work quite like that of Santa Monica-based author Tahereh Mafi. The Iranian-American author has released 10 novels and five novelas since first publishing dystopian YA thriller Shatter Me in 2011. This Saturday, she reads from her forthcoming 12th novel, These Infinite Threads, the second book in her This Woven Kingdom series. In conversation with fellow NYT bestselling author Joanna Ho, Mafi will share a few parts of her latest book, focused on clashing empires and forbidden romance, and inspired by Persian mythology.
