.Tom Rigney and Flambeau in Sunnyvale

Somewhere deep in the French Quarter is the ideal place to dance to Tom Rigney’s world-famous Cajun blues, but it’s incredibly hot and humid in Louisiana right now. Sunnyvale is in luck because the all-star musician is bringing his spicy tunes out of New Orleans and into the Bay. An award-winning fiddle player, Rigney specializes in Cajun two-step, low-down blues, boogie-woogie and good old-fashioned Nola funk. There’s no dance party like a Rigney dance party, where bits of the composer’s Irish and Eastern European heritage poke through. Everything else is welcome seasoning in the gumbo.
