Straight talk: It’s a music writer’s dream to type go see Unkle Andy and the Fuck Around Gang. And fortunately, the band kicks major ass! According to their bio, the Mt. Hood quartet has been “keeping it moist” since 1991 with sludgy rock, punk and metal mixtures. Their latest release, Wasted, dropped this month, featuring such soon-to-be classics as “Bride of the Ram,” “A Party Not Worth Having” and “Para tú Madre.” Unkle Andy and the Fuck Around Gang are not for those who don’t like to party or lack a sense of humor, or decided to cut their hair to get a “real job.” But they are for fans of Pentagram, Fu Manchu and headbangers everywhere.
