Twelve MFA students from SJSU showcase their work through a group exhibition. Each artist blends personal experience into their response to a single prompt from philosopher Judith Butler’s essay “Precarious Life.” The show includes a wide range of mediums, from painting and printmaking to sculpture and multidisciplinary installation, and grapples with the role of an artist during a time of great technological advancement and sociopolitical turmoil. It runs in two parts, featuring six artists starting April 4 and an additional six beginning June 19 through August 24.
