The directorial mind of Yorgos Lanthimos combined with the acting chops of Emma Stone gave the world a feminist-leaning Frankenstein this past winter in the form of Poor Things. Now, it’s time for the youthful version. Young Frankenstein, written by Mel Brooks, follows the hilarious misadventures of Victor Frankenstein’s grandson Frederick, who inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. As far as comedy-horror goes, it simply does not get creepier or funnier than this tale. Joey Dippel stars as the man—or the Frankenstein—of the hour. Runs through June 23.
