Scene Stealer

All the animals come out at night ...

By Kelly Luker

The final credits just rolled and thirst sets in. Yes, there is a thirst for something hot and frothy or chilled and alcoholic, but that's only part of the craving. There is also a thirst for rich, meaningful, post-flick conversation. While the basic Jennifer Love Hewitt/Adam Sandler/ Damon Wayans vehicle does not require this, movies found at the indie houses downtown do. And there's nothing worse than trying to ponder the meaning of that latest winner of the Palm D'Or while slamming down McNuggets and a shake at Mickey D's. Fortunately, all cravings can be slaked at Camera Cafe, located conveniently next to Camera Three Cinema and a brief walk from Camera One Cinema. Espresso drinks, natural sodas, Italian soda, beer and wine as well as light meals and decadent desserts are available to satiate the physical hunger. Bring a date or a friend to satisfy the rest.
