Tonic Timesavers for the
Body & Soul
Which Will Doubtless Enrich Life,
In Its Corporeal and Ethereal Aspects

"Regimen Is Superior to Medicine, Especially as, From Time Immemorial, out of Every Hundred Physicians, Ninety-Eight Are Charlatans."
Voltaire (1764)

T hink of the body as the automobile of the soul. Run it into the pavement on too much cheap gas, bad additives and a lousy maintenance schedule, and just see how much fun it is to keep driving. Think: stranded on the shoulder of the road to happiness. Think: stalled before the exit to the Emerald City. Continually driving this vehicular rent-a-wreck, as it were, makes for not only an unreliable ride through life but also one that can get downright expensive at the old MD mechanic later on. In the 20s, a little Starbrite will gloss over the problem, but by the 30s and 40s, the junker will be downright embarrassing to take on dates, especially if anyone is interested in taking a ride.
